Distributed Temperature Sensing

DTS (Distributed Temperature Sensing) measures the temperature along an optical fiber, every meter, over many kilometers. This results in an accurate and continuous temperature profile along the sensor cable (1000 temperature points per kilometer).

• Provides versatility and accuracy of temperature measurement

• Uses standard Multimode (MM) or Singlemode (SM) sensing fiber – no custom fiber required

• Temperature measurement every 25cm along the full length of the fiber

Emergency Restoration Services

Adtell’s Emergency Restoration Team (ERT) restores service, following a catastrophic outage. If your company provides service under a Service Level Agreement (SLA), you should speak with Adtell Integration about our PROACTIVE Emergency restoration services. Contrary to most ER Services, Adtell’s team has the ability to operate a remote network monitoring system, which alerts the ER team of an outage, and quickly identifies exactly where to deploy the ER team – without additional field testing, which can require additional time and money.

Bandwidth Testing

Adtell's GigE testing is comprised with 2 main areas:

For Installation and Commissioning situations, active tests are employed to test such things as Continuity and Configuration. Most testing requirements include RFC-2544 which tests Throughput, Frame Loss, Back-to-Back Frame/burstability and Latency. For these tests, traffic is generated, up to full line rate to characterize the capability of the network. Once the network’s capability is well documented then you will know the limits of your network and it will help determine SLAs or it can tell us if the problem is on your side of the network or with the Service provider.

Fiber Characterization

Adtell Integration’s Fiber Characterization Services help customers understand issues and optimize the performance of their fiber networks by identifying the limitations of each fiber. Our service helps reduce time to market for optical-based services by identifying problems proactively and providing time to take corrective actions. Fiber Characterization Services provide an accurate report of individual fiber characteristics along with future scalability and performance. If live fibers are to be used, additional services and charges are required to move traffic off of fibers to be tested.
